EVERYONE will sympathise with the sheer frustration faced by Upper Denby couple Alan and Maureen Ward.

Communications giant Talk Talk has been hounding them for cash they do not owe.

And even though the couple keep telling Talk Talk they have never owed it a penny – and the company even accepts that – the demands for payment keep coming.

And now there is even a threat to send debt collectors round. Dealing with big organisations like this can be a real nightmare.

The problem with large companies is that there often does not seem to be a sense of responsibility within them – no-one who can grab hold of a problem until it is solved and you have to keep contacting them again and again through faceless call centres.

And yet all will claim they put customer care at the top of their agenda.
