TIME is now starting to run out in the countdown to this year’s Examiner Charity Challenge – an event which has raised £750,000 over the last 22 years.
Lions clubs across Huddersfield have done the hard organisational work and dealt with the red tape so all people have to do is pick what event they fancy, turn up and do it. And afterwards the Examiner even counts all your money for you.
It just couldn’t be easier and this year we want small charities and good causes such as cubs, brownies, community groups, sports clubs and schools to get involved.
It all means that you can get maximum financial benefit. There are several walks and bike rides along with a wheelchair route and even a horse ride.
So come on, do yourselves a favour and make some money for your school or community group.
