Children from Huddersfield have been confirmed as record-breakers.

They helped break a Guinness World Record for Sign2Sing, organised by SignHealth.

The national charity SignHealth annually organises the sign2sing record breaker with people singing at the same time. This February, 116,980 pupils and teachers in Great Britain have participated.

They included youngsters at Dryclough CE Infant School in Crosland Moor and Moldgreen Community Primary School.

The memorable event was not only a record breaker, it was also an excellent fundraiser for the charity through a voluntary donation from those who took part.

Preparations for next year’s attempt are already in full swing and schools hoping to get involved are urged to visit www.sign2sing.org.uk to register.
