A Colne Valley gelataria and cafe is branching out after launching its first bistro.
Slaithwaite’s Vanilla Bean Bistro is the latest edition to the company’s projects after shop owners Janice and Eric Joyce decided to take over the former With Love bridal boutique.
Several months in the making, they have revamped the entire venue and swapped clothes rails for a coffee roastery and food to turn it into a licensed cafe.
It was officially opened on Friday October 17 by the pair and Colne Valley MP Jason McCartney.
This is the latest good news story for the couple, whose ice-cream company Freddo Blu has won numerous awards at the National Ice Cream contests since they started out on their dream career path over seven years ago.
