The fairytale dreams of a group of youngsters came true when Snow White paid them a visit.

The Disney character brought a basket of fruit to all the children at The Magical Forest play centre in Marsh.

The family-run business is based in Holy Trinity Church Hall in St James Road.

It offers visitors an indoor soft play area with a multi-level play frame.

Snow White visited was part of the centre’s fairy tales week where many free activities were organised to keep the children busy.

Kami Kaur, from Magical Forest, said: “The children really enjoyed the fruit.

“I think using a character they were excited to see handing out the fruit really encouraged them to eat it.

“We are really supporting and encouraging healthy eating and have lots of healthy options on our menu as well as starting yoga classes for children.

“(This) will get them thinking about their health and wellbeing early on.

The character was played by Nin Dhesi, who works part time for the Magical Forest and is from Fartown.

She has just graduated and is working there over the summer.

The play centre plans lots more free events and healthy fruit days throughout the summer to keep the kids entertained.
