THERE was fun in the sun on the streets of Huddersfield yesterday.

Hundreds of revellers turned out to celebrate St Patrick’s Day – a few days early – and joined in the fun at the town’s annual parade.

A celebration of Irish culture filled the streets with colour, with residents of all ages joining in to cheer on the groups on board the floats which made their way through town.

It was the 11th year a dedicated team have lined up entertainment and organised parades for the public to watch and join in with.

The parade is a great example of a community event which brings everyone together.

Organisers put a lot of work into the day and they have done a brilliant job once again.
