She was looked after by nursery staff there more than 20 years ago.

So when it came to picking a nursery for her young son, there was only ever one place in the running for Lucy Haigh.

Lucy, along with her sister Emma, spent her early childhood at Portland House Nursery in Lindley.

And now her son Oscar Beeby, who has just turned one, has started there.

Anastasia Murphy, general manager of Portland Nurseries, said: “Lucy told us during the show around visit that: ‘I wouldn’t take my child anywhere else’.

“We’re all looking forward to helping Oscar learn and develop into a bright and lovely young adult just like his mummy and aunty.”

Oscar is pictured with childcare practitioners Anne Watson and Julie Lister from the nursery.

They have been with the company for over 20 years.

Anne and Julie looked after Lucy when she was a baby and now will care for Oscar too. Both women began their time with the company in the baby room.

Anne is now based in the preschool room, helping prepare the children for school. Julie is now the nursery manager.
