TOMORROW will see millions of people nationwide stop for a moment to think of others.

Remembrance Sunday offers us the chance to recall the past horrors of war, to think of members of our own families or communities who have lost their lives and to think of those currently serving our country around the world.

This year Remembrance Sunday is all the more poignant for the people of Huddersfield.

The town as a whole has cause to remember our own fallen soldiers who have been tragically killed in Afghanistan in recent years.

This year saw four young Huddersfield men pay the ultimate sacrifice this year and the people of the town will once again pay their own respects to them.

But it’s also the chance to think about those left behind, the families who act with such dignity as they keep their loved ones names alive.

Tomorrow is our chance to not only remember, but to say thank you to those who served and continue to do so.
