COMMUNITY station Two Valleys Radio will have a new Honley home in the New Year.

The volunteer-led station, which broadcasts in the Holme and Colne valleys, broadcast its last show at the Carlile Institute, Meltham, on December 17. After Christmas shows at Honley High School on December 19 and 20, Two Valleys will broadcast in the New Year from its new home at The Barn, at Honley Junior School. Pupils and staff from the school will also help with the running of the station. Two Valleys Radio began in 2009 at the Slaithwaite Moonraker Beer Festival. The station, funded by the Arts Council and the Tudor Trust, broadcast from community centres, church halls, youth clubs, parks and seven schools before moving to the Carlile Institute. For more information about Two Valleys Radio visit: www.twovalleysradio.co.uk
