RESIDENTS of New Mill can now keep abreast of the village’s happenings thanks to a new notice board which has been installed outside the Co-op store.
The installation of the sign, made and put up by Steve Kent, was arranged by the Rev Sean Robertshaw of Christ Church, New Mill, and Shirley Bly, one of the directors of Wooldale Co-op Group, as well as villager Brenda Malcolm.
The noticeboard has been funded by Kirklees Council via a Community Grant Award.
