Huddersfield Stacey Rodgers’ fight against fumes tragedies gets terrible new impetus
I have worked in the gas industry for many years working in domestic properties. When I asked the question 'have you got a carbon monoxide detector' many use to say yes I have one but it is in the draw unopened. Kirklees did a great job in handing free ones out, it’s just a crying shame that many threw them in a drawer unopened.
Most detectors are portable and can be taken away on holiday with you no matter where or how you holiday, I have seen first hand how these have saved peoples lives, so stop your excuses and get one or open it up and put it up. (I have four in my house and I am an expert in the gas industry)

Why should we pay towards this when I don't drive. Surely we should have a say in matters such as this when it’s us that’s paying for it. Also shouldn't this be paid for by the road tax or fuel duty that people who do drive pay for?

I am currently in good health and not a victim of crime but I still contribute to the NHS and police.....do you ever use buses which travel on roads?

Why not build a new junction just past Bradley Bar roundabout on Bradford Road. After all why in the 60's did they widen Bradford Rd all the way to Fartown Bar? It was going to be widened all the way in to town, alas the junction never came.

If we are having new junctions can I have an east bound entry at Junction 23 while we are at it please? I'll pay 2.5p a week for that.
