YOUNGSTERS from North Huddersfield are backing the West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

They are right behind their One Good Thing campaign.

The youngsters – Ellie Wright, aged 11, Imogen Rhodes and Megan Stoker, both 12, and Lewis Cavanagh, aged 15 – all live near the Brackenhall-based hospice.

And to give something back they have organised an Easter fair at Northfield Hall for the ‘One Good Thing’ campaign.

The fair is free to attend and has been organised for Saturday March 30 from noon until 3pm.

There will be a selection of different activity stalls and competitions to enter, as well as an indoor bouncy castle and refreshments.

All the proceeds will go to the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

Sam Wood, Senior Community Fundraiser for the Hospice, says: “It’s fantastic to see Ellie, Imogen, Lewis and Megan taking on this event.

“It is a fine example of how we can all do our bit to help fundraise – no matter what our age is.”

The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice exists to give vital support to children with a life limiting or life threatening condition, and their families across Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.

It must raise over £2.5m per year to ensure it is able to give the children and families the support they need.
