THESE youngsters from the age of eight had an action-packed half-term with special sports sessions. They tried out a whole range of fun sports over two days at Crosland Moor Junior School. The Mission Active circuit contained all kinds of unusual play equipment including Batak reaction gear (above) to help with balance and co-ordination and rowing machines (right). The sessions were run by Kirklees Council, local community rangers, the Integrated Youth Support Service and the Sport and Physical Activity Development Team. The Walpole and Balmoral Tenants’ and Residents’ Association helped the youngsters keep up their energy levels by handing out refreshments.
