The Bellwoods are entitled to one appeal against the indictment. Police will look again at the incriminating film.
If the Bellwoods are told the penalty points are still to be imposed they will have their day in court.
The photos will then be displayed as evidence.
A spokesman for the West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership, which runs the speed cameras, said just one successful appeal had been made throughout the whole of the county.
Speed cameras work by taking pictures 0.5 seconds apart. How fast the vehicle is going can then be determined by measuring the distance between lines on the road.
The spokesman said any vehicle under the speed limit was effectively invisible to the radar triggering the camera.
"But if someone had a genuine belief they were under the speed limit we will, as a matter of course, check and re-check the film to make sure," said the spokesman.
"If people want to, they can see photos in court, but not before," he added.
