Escape from fire

A WOMAN escaped through an open window after a fire in her Huddersfield flat.

The fire was at Tolson Crescent in Dalton at 10pm on Friday.

Neighbours spotted flames in her window and called the fire brigade.

The woman escaped through an open window before Huddersfield firefighters arrived.
