How we all grew a petunia for our school garden

CHILDREN at Bradley Infant School are blooming marvellous!
The school's 167 pupils produced a colourful display when they staged their own petunia competition.
And they welcomed John Avison (pictured with pupils Joseph Butterfield and Brandelle Aka) who is environment co-ordinator at the Syngenta plant in Huddersfield, to judge the entries and determine class winners.
The children sowed the petunias at school but each then took home a plant to nurture it, ready for the judging.
