FANS young and old turned out for the sixth annual Punch and Judy Festival at Nelson Mandela Corner, Huddersfield, on Saturday.

Good weather ensured a busy crowd for the 345-year-old show performed by professional puppeteer Les Clarke.

Les said: “It’s a great British tradition. When people see it they realise why it’s survived for so long. It’s not just a kid’s show. Adults love it too.”
