A HUDDERSFIELD University student was badly hurt in a road accident. The 21-year-old suffered a serious head injury when she was in collision with a Vauxhall Astra car on Wakefield Road in Aspley at 4.45pm on Wednesday. The accident happened near to the junction with Southgate. The injured woman was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and then to Leeds General Infirmary where she is said to be in a stable condition.
