Two men were being questioned today over the attempted murder of a police officer during an armed robbery.Pc Katie Johnson, 29, a dog handler with Lancashire police, suffered 12 pellet wounds to her leg and colleague Pc Ian Tinsley was threatened by a gunman as they responded to a robbery at a pub near Preston. Four of the staff at the Hospital Inn, Bamber Bridge, had been forced to hand over a five figure sum in cash. A man was arrested soon after the incident on Monday....
