Plea to find gun terror gang in safe raid at house

THESE two men brought terror to a family home.

The pair and two other masked accomplices burst into the house – and then held a gun to a terrified mother’s head.

Now police want people to look at the photographs and come forward with names.

The terror began when the 33-year-old woman answered a knock at her home on Lowerhouses Road, off Quarmby Road, Quarmby, at 5.45pm on November 28.

A white man was standing at the door and asked for Johnny – but three other men then burst in.

One held a gun to the victim’s head. Another had a crowbar.

Her hands were bound and money demanded.

A safe was stolen.

The woman’s two young children were watching TV in a bedroom throughout her ordeal.

Det Con Russ Conlon, of Kirklees CID intelligence unit, said: “This was a terrible ordeal for the woman.

“A gun was used which is exceptionally serious. We would urge people to look at these two efits. Do you recognise either of these men? If you can provide names, please call us.’’
