SIXTH form life at Woodhouse Grove is very different to the school time that has gone before.

Although the priority is to achieve the best academic results – our students achieved a 100% pass rate at grades A-E, with 86% at the top grades of A-C – our sixth form also offers opportunities to develop the whole personality.

Students achieve because they are stretched in different and stimulating ways; by commitments to house and team, by appointment as school prefects, by clubs, activities or work within the community. We aim to support, encourage and inspire all our students so they can all reach their full potential and be prepared for a world beyond school. We provide:

*Excellent facilities and exclusive use of the refurbished sixth form centre, common room and areas for private study.

*Over 20 AS and A level subjects offered, with additional breadth of study provided by the sixth form enrichment programme.

*High quality of teaching, good tutorial support, extensive careers programmes and higher wide range of extra curricular activities, encompassing sports and the performing arts.

*School bus from Huddersfield.
