Racing to aid charity

RUNNERS are being called on to help a charity raise cash by taking part in a 10km race.

The British Red Cross is appealing for people to get their running shoes on for the BUPA Great Manchester Run on May 18.

The charity still has places available for the event.

Registration is £35 and each runner is asked to pledge to raise more than £150 in sponsorship.

For details on securing a place, call Rachel on 0114 242 7381 or e- mail rolney@redcross.org.uk.
