WELL-BEING and reducing isolation will be the themes of the next meeting of the Huddersfield North Area Committee.
And councillors are urging residents to attend.
Clr Cath Harris, who chairs the committee, said: “I would encourage residents to come and find out what activities there are to enable them to help themselves, a relative or a friend, and maybe make a contribution as well as learning something new.”
Those attending will have the opportunity to meet with local services and organisations who will showcase information on support they provide to people experiencing well-being and emotional problems.
There will be a presentation on a project being set up to make information on services more available.
The event will take place at 7pm on Tuesday, January 22, at the Deighton Centre, Deighton Rd, Huddersfield.
