CHILDREN are being encouraged to make a splash for charity as part of School Aid’s campaign for this month.
The Splash Aid charity hopes to raise awareness of the plight of millions of children in the world’s poorest communities, where they have no access to safe, clean drinking water, and also collect money to help them.
Dirty water is the biggest killer of children in the world.
This campaign challenges schools to raise money for children and teachers in developing countries and to help provide children across the world with safe water.
Splash Aid says fundraising ideas can include holding a school car wash and lilo racing in your school or local pool.
School Aid is a year-long partnership between World Vision and the National Association of Head Teachers which aims to raise awareness among schoolchildren about global poverty.
