Musical spots for charities

SPOT On Musical Theatre raised cash for two charities with a 1940s night at Moldgreen United Reformed Church .
Shelley Music Centre Big Band led the dancing while Spot On presented two cabaret slots, including an extract from Dad’s Army.
Fred Shaw was the compère, the accompanist was Margaret Dutton and John Beevers played the ukulele.
The Forget Me Not Trust and the Warwickshire Firefighters’ Families Fund each received £150.
An additional collection by two Huddersfield firefighters raised £85.
