Wanted: views on NHS
Jan 19 2008 by Joanne Douglas, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
A REVIEW on the future of the NHS is under way.
And healthcare professions want to hear your views.
People are being asked to take part in an online survey about the health service in Kirklees.
The questionnaire focuses on subjects that matter to patients, such as waiting times and accessibility of the services.
Mike Potts, chief executive of Kirklees Primary Care Trust, said: “The review will set out a direction for the future of health and healthcare in England that is developed and owned by patients, staff and the public together and we will apply this to healthcare in Kirklees.
“It is crucial that the review reflects the views of a broad cross-section of patients, the public, health and social care staff.
“The questionnaire provides an excellent opportunity to do this.”
The questionnaire will give people the chance to shape the future of NHS services for the next 10 years.
