Service has new chief

YORKSHIRE Ambulance Service (YAS) has a new boss.
Martyn Pritchard has taken over as chief executive from Jayne Barnes, who has emigrated to Australia.
Mr Pritchard has worked in the NHS for 16 years.
He was chief executive of the Calderdale Primary Care Trust between 2002 and 2006 and was head of policy at the Department of Health before taking over at YAS.
