A COURT heard chilling details how a former Huddersfield prostitute met her death.
Anneli Alderton’s body was found dumped in the Suffolk countryside by police involved in the hunt for a serial killer.
Ipswich Crown Court heard that Miss Alderton's naked body was found in woodland at Nacton on December 10. She had last been seen on December 3.
Home Office pathologist Dr Nat Cary said forensic tests showed that she had probably died shortly after disappearing.
Her body was found in a crucifix shape and Dr Cary said she had probably been “deposited” in that position within a few hours of death.
She was one of five prostitutes found dead during a 10-day spell around Ipswich.Steve Wright, 49, of Ipswich denies murdering Miss Adams, 25, Tania Nicol, 19, Anneli, 24, Paula Clennell, 24 and Annette Nicholls, 29.
Miss Alderton, the mother of a young boy, had lived in Huddersfield for several years .
