Day for help on housing
YORKSHIRE Metropolitan Housing (YMH) held an information day for the elderly at Birkby Crofts sheltered housing yesterday.
The event, co-organised by the Pension Service and Kirklees Council, aimed to raise awareness of services and benefits available to people over 55.
On hand to offer information were West Yorkshire Fire Service, Age Concern, Kirklees Social Services Information Point, Work Link and Moving More Often.
