Vehicles on fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with two vehicles on fire in Huddersfield overnight.

The first was in Coniston Avenue in Moldgreen at 9.45pm last night.

A Vauxhall Movano van parked outside a house was found alight. The second fire took place at 3am today outside the Lower Royal George pub on New Hey Road at Pole Moor. A Peugeot 206 car had crashed into a wall and caught fire. Police attended and arrested the owner at the scene.
