A woman has admitted killing a baby girl and a 27-year-old man by starting a house fire in Leeds. Marie Sharp, 22, put an ignited rag through the letterbox of a house on Dufton Approach, Seacroft, in December. Fifteen-month-old Kyra Moran died in the fire and Gavin Battensby, who tried to rescue her, died later. Sharp, of Tarnside Drive, Seacroft, admitted manslaughter at Leeds Crown Court. She will be sentenced on May 19. Read
