A MAN was robbed at knifepoint at a bus stop.

The 27-year-old victim was at the junction of Ingham Road and Lees Hall Road in Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury, at 10.45pm last night when two men approached him.

After asking for a cigarette they pinned him to a wall. One of the thieves threatened him with a knife while the other searched his pockets.

They stole a black leather wallet containing cash.

They also hit the victim in the face, causing a swollen lip.

Both robbers are Asians aged 19 to 20.

They wore black baseball caps, dark lightweight jackets, dark tracksuit bottoms tucked into their socks and dark trainers.

One wore a black hooded top and the other a light grey one.

Both had the hoods pulled over their baseball caps.
