Writing with poet Pip

PHILIP Burton, also known as Pip the Poet, called in for a visit to Birkby and Fartown Library and Information Centre.

Pip was joined by parents from Birkby Infant and Nursery School who attended a writing session with him.

He read out a selection of his stories and poems and the parents then put pen to paper to write their own.

The event was organised by the school and library staff.
