Forecast of snow was right!

HEAVY snow showers fells across Huddersfield overnight as predicted by forecasters.

Drivers were warned to take extra care on untreated surfaces if they were heading off for the Easter weekend.

Weathermen from the Met Office said as much as six inches could fall over high ground with a couple of inches elsewhere. It was expected to die out later today with only light flurries during the afternoon and some sunshine later.
