A SWIMMING pool will reopen this Friday.
Kirklees Council has spent £1m refurbishing Holmfirth Pool.
Repair work began at the 30-year-old centre in November.
It now has a new ceiling in the pool hall and a new storeroom.
The changing rooms have been refurbished with new fixtures, fittings, showers, flooring and walls and there is also a new unisex disabled or family changing room. The swimming pool has been regrouted and the front of the centre has been extended to include an improved reception area. The filtration, ventilation and electrics have all been upgraded.
