Chapel treat for lovers of music

AN AFTERNOON of musical entertainment is being held at Hade Edge Chapel.

The anniversary event on April 6 promises to be a real treat for music lovers. Kicking off at 2.30pm, it will feature a performance from Hade Edge Choir and the stunning vocals of Sarah Ogden, from Shelley, who trains the choir.

The award-winning 23-year-old was one of the success stories at this year’s Mrs Sunderland Music Festival. The event will finish with a tea supplied by the women of the church.
