MP BARRY Sheerman paid tribute to a Kirklees enterprise network during Parliamentary questions to business minister John Hutton. The Huddersfield MP praised the success of Kirklees Enterprise Foundation which has helped to set up 54 ventures since its creation early last year. The foundation acts as a network linking experienced business people. Mr Sheerman also invited Mr Hutton to see the foundation’s base at the £3m Textile Centre of Excellence at Bradley Mills. Former employment minister Caroline Flint was also impressed with the foundation when she visited the centre last month.
