Centre set to celebrate different cultures

A COMMUNITY centre is holding a free celebration of cultural diversity.

The event at Birkby and Fartown Library and Information Centre will be next Saturday afternoon.

A Bollywood dancer will be performing, as well as a junior choir.

For people wanting to get fit there will be activities including using a Wii game.

There will also be a wide range of information stalls.

Parents of pupils at Birkby Infants School have been working with staff from the library to prepare for the activities.

The event runs from 1pm to 4pm.
