Half-term quiz in gardens

OAKWELL Hall will be challenging youngsters to use their brains in a half-term fun quiz.
Children visiting the country park near Birstall will have to explore its formal gardens for clues to the answers.
Entry to the grounds is free and quiz sheets can be collected from the Oakwell Visitors Centre. Families can take part from May 24 to June 1.
The quiz has been inspired by Oak Apple Day, May 29 to mark the restoration of King Charles II to the throne in 1660.
The hall will be open from 11am to 5pm Monday to Friday and from noon to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Entry costs £1.60 for adults, 70p to children and wheelchair users and £4 for families.
