FAITH leaders paid tribute to killing victim Amar Aslam last night.
The Bishop of Wakefield, the Rt Rev Stephen Platten, was among those who joined a vigil in Crow Nest Park, Dewsbury, at the spot where the 17-year-old victim was found last Sunday.
The others included the Rev Kevin Partington, Vicar of Dewsbury, and local Muslim leader Moulanah Ilyas Patel.
The faith leaders, who each held a silent prayer, were joined by Dewsbury MP Shahid Malik.
All later visited Mr Aslam’s Dewsbury home to pay their condolences to his family.
Three 15-year-old boys and a man aged 20 have been remanded in custody charged with murder and robbery.
