POTS and plants were on sale at the annual Colne Valley Green Fair.
It was the fourth annual green fair to be held in the borough and offers residents the chance to potter around 30 stalls.
Kirklees’ new mayor Clr Karam Hussain officially opened the fair which took place at the Slaithwaite Community Centre on Saturday.
As well as stalls, there was an organic cafe, children’s activities and workshops offering people advice on topical issues including how to grow your own vegetables.
Hundreds of people attended on the day and were able to get advice from gardening experts at the fair.
