Barn dance for midsummer

WANT to celebrate summer in the traditional way?

Staff at Oakwell Hall country park in Birstall are holding a midsummer barn dance next Friday.

There will be music from band Sandrigg at the old-fashioned party in the visitor centre barn. The event will run from 7.30pm to 11pm and include a buffet supper.

Soft drinks will be sold, but guests can bring their own alcoholic drinks.

Tickets cost £10 and can be bought by contacting staff at the Nutter Lane hall on 01924 326240.
