A PUBLIC meeting over axed bus services takes place in Milnsbridge tonight. It has been arranged at Milnsbridge Baptist Church at 6pm. The meeting has been called by local councillors, after many protests from residents over the cuts to the 305 service which used to run from Milnsbridge through Cowlersley to Blackmoorfoot. Geoff Lumb, of Cowlersley, who had called for action to stop the bus cuts, said: “It’s too late now, especially for the traders in Milnsbridge who have been hit by the cuts which stop people going there to shop.” Read
