Silver for green school

STILE Common Infant and Nursery School has gone silver.
It has received a silver Eco Schools Award, a nationally-recognised award for its ‘green’ credentials.
To gain the award a school has to set up a full programme charting recycling and reducing waste, improving school grounds, sustainable lifestyles and global education.
The school also has raised beds where vegetables are grown.
It involves parents as much as possible in its eco-programme.
