Bingo fans’ target

BINGO fanatics will be helping a charity to get lucky as part of a bid to raise £250,000.

Staff and customers at Folly Hall’s Mecca Bingo will take part in a national fundraising event for the Whizz-Kidz children’s charity.

The charity supports disabled children and helps to give them more independence by providing mobility support.

Staff at the bingo hall hope to contribute towards a £250,000 target set by Mecca Bingo venues nationally.

Michelle Winfield, manager at the Folly Hall venue, said: “Our customers and staff have already responded magnificently to the challenge of raising money for this fantastic children’s charity.”

The fundraising night will take place all day on Friday, August 8, in support of Whizz-Kidz.
