Garages win awards

TWO car dealership have received awards for their ‘excellent’ customer service.

John Shaw and Sons, of Leeds Road, Huddersfield and Evans Halshaw on Bradford Road at Dewsbury gained the award from West Yorkshire Trading Standards Motor Trade Partnership.

The partnership was set up seven years ago in response to increasing complaints about car sales, servicing and repairs.

Members, which include both the winning garages, are encouraged to raise their standards.
