Sports fun day for blind people

BLIND and partially sighted people enjoyed a sports fun day at Leeds Road Playing Fields on Saturday.

Adults and youngsters tried archery, bowling and tandem cycling at the event organised by voluntary group Better Future for The Blind and funded by Kirklees Council.

Participants learned about gadgets to help them with physical activities and what sports are on offer in Kirklees.
