Gun gang rob man on driveway

A GANG armed with what was thought to be a gun robbed a man in his Golcar home.

The victim was on the driveway of his home in Oak Avenue at 6.30pm last night when the four men walked up.

One of them prodded the man in his back with what he believed to be a gun and he was made to go into his house.

Once inside he was threatened and the gang fled with a colour TV, a mobile phone and a wallet.

The man ran outside after them and the gang dropped the TV as they fled.

Det Con Russ Conlon said: “This happened in broad daylight outside the man’s home and we would appeal to any witnesses to come forward.”

The gunman was a dark-skinned male in his 20s wearing a denim jacket.

Two of the gang wore hooded tops pulled over their faces while the fourth was a mixed race male.
