Muggers hit woman

A WOMAN was mugged in the early hours yesterday in Birkby.

The 25-year-old was on her way down King Cliff Road to a taxi rank when one man knocked her to the ground and another grabbed her shoulder bag and a laptop bag containing a Packard Bell computer.

The victim was shaken but unhurt.

Police are hunting two dark-skinned males, both about 5ft 2in tall.
