EVERY parent thinks their baby is the bonniest.

But the search is now on to find Huddersfield’s most popular tot.

The Examiner’s popular Baby of the Year 2008 competition is launched today and here’s how you can put your offspring in the spotlight.

Mums, dads and carers can take their child to Queensgate Market (stall 77 to 80), opposite Merrie England, between next Monday (September 8) and Saturday, September 20 (except Sunday), for a professional portrait sitting with John Woods Photography.

Pictures can be taken any time between 10am and 4pm except from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

The photographs will be published in a special pull-out supplement in the Examiner next month, when readers can vote on their favourite.
